The University of Jaffna recognizes, appreciates, and encourages the achievements of its permanent academic staff in academic excellence, teaching, research, and outreach through these annual awards. Eligible permanent staff members are requested to submit their applications for the relevant award category for contributions made during the period 1st of January 2025 to 31st of December 2025.
The following documents prepared by the Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA) regarding the Awards for Academic Excellence, Teaching, Research and Outreach – 2025 are attached herewith:
- Notification: Calling application for the Award of Academic Excellence, Teaching, Research and Outreach Award – 2025.
- Revised Guidelines for the Award of Academic Excellence, Teaching, Research and Outreach.
- Application Form and the Points Scheme.
You are kindly requested to circulate the attached notification and the relevant documents among the eligible academic staff members of your Faculty/Department/Unit and encourage them to submit their completed applications, together with the required documentary evidences, on or before the stipulated deadline.
Completed applications should be submitted to the Office of the Vice-Chancellor on or before 20th of October 2026.
